Autism Camp Australia

This school holiday season, Kidzklub Australia had the privilege of providing ArtPlay workshops at two Autism Camp Australia programs held at the serene Tweed Campout in Chillingham. These camps are a beacon of support, offering a strengths-based approach to health and wellbeing for Autistic young people and their families, creating an environment where neurodiversity is celebrated and individuality nurtured.

Through hands-on creative activities like nature mask-making and clay play, Kidzklub helped these young participants build confidence, enhance independence, and foster deeper social connections. Our workshops not only sparked creativity but also played a key role in strengthening friendships among the children, all while creating lasting memories in a supportive environment.

Beyond the children, Kidzklub also engaged with parents, carers, and siblings, offering activities that helped to build resilience and expand social networks. These shared creative moments facilitated stronger family bonds, creating an opportunity for parents and siblings to support one another in meaningful ways.

Autism Camp Australia’s approach aligns deeply with our own values at Kidzklub Australia. We are honoured to be a part of a program that embraces every individual’s unique gifts, fostering creativity, self-expression, and an enduring sense of community.
