How Kidzklub Began

Kidzklub Australia began in Byron Bay in 2003, founded by early learning professional Trudi Fitzgerald. What started as a local play centre, babysitting agency and adventure company grew into a dedicated children’s event and entertainment service. Over two decades later, Kidzklub has become a nationwide agency delivering everything from workshops and holiday programs to large festivals and community activations.

Our journey has always been guided by one vision: to make it easier for families, venues and event organisers to offer safe, creative and joy filled experiences where children are celebrated and cared for.

Rooted in Community, Growing Nationwide

Community is at the heart of Kidzklub. Born in the Northern Rivers, NSW and now operating across Australia, we remain deeply connected to the regions, families and organisations we serve. For more than 20 years we have built strong relationships with local councils, event organisers, entertainers and suppliers, ensuring every program reflects community values.

Our activities are designed not only to entertain children aged 0 to 12 but also to foster social interaction and bring people together. From school holiday workshops to festivals and venue activations, we believe in creating events that strengthen community connections and leave lasting memories.
We proudly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we operate and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Whether it is a fully programmed Classic Kids Club, a festival childcare zone or a single creative workshop, our team brings the same care, flexibility and imagination to every project.

Meet Our Founder

Kidzklub founding director, Trudi Fitzgerald, is a dedicated early learning professional with a lifelong passion for creating opportunities that bring joy to children.

Trudi discovered her love of childcare early and pursued career paths in both childcare and primary teaching before launching what would become a national children’s event and entertainment agency. Along the way she gained experience across the education sector, including roles as an Out of School Hours Care Supervisor, Child Development Officer, Primary School Teacher, Childcare Teacher and Nanny.

In 2003 Kidzklub Australia was born, and Trudi had found her calling. With strong foundations in education and childcare, she built an enterprise dedicated to providing safe, imaginative and engaging experiences for children. Today Kidzklub is supported by a skilled team of professionals and continues to grow with a future full of possibility.

When she is not immersed in the business, Trudi enjoys art, spending time outdoors, bushwalking and gardening.
