What We Delivered
Kidzklub Australia designed and delivered a large-scale family entertainment activation that combined creative play, active games and live entertainment within a welcoming festival-style environment.
The children’s precinct featured multiple activity zones designed to cater for a wide range of ages and interests.
Creative Arts and Crafts Zone
Children enjoyed hands-on arts and crafts experiences including a special branded creative activity supplied by Virgin Australia and facilitated by the Kidzklub team. A separate creative area for younger children provided age-appropriate activities and sensory play opportunities.
Active Play and Giant Games
Families explored an interactive play space featuring balance and stepping stones, hoops, mini stilts and active play equipment designed to encourage movement and participation.
Large-format giant games including Giant Chess, Connect Four, Jenga, Mini Table Tennis and Giant Snakes and Ladders encouraged social interaction and family play throughout the event.
Clown School and Circus Play
A popular feature of the activation was Kidzklub’s Clown School experience, where children could explore circus-inspired play through spinning plates, hula hoops, diabolos, giant bubbles and interactive performance activities.
Live Entertainment
Roaming entertainers moved throughout the precinct creating spontaneous moments of fun and interaction. Professional face painters transformed children into colourful characters while a live magician performance delivered moments of surprise, laughter and wonder for families throughout the day.
The combination of structured activities and roaming entertainment ensured there was always something new for families to discover.

The Virgin Australia Open Day successfully delivered a family-friendly experience that reflected the airline’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for staff and their families.
