Little Splendour….IN THE CITY!!! Our very own Children’s Festival within Splendour In the City!
Little Splendour is designed exclusively for kids. Parents can bring their little festival lovers in to relax, play and unleash their creative spirit. Little Splendour is all about having a good time and has something fun for the whole family, and is FREE from 12pm – 5pm Saturday and Sunday. 10th,11th and 17th and 18th of July.
The space includes a play area with giant games, some active play equipment for those sporty types, painting wall and an imagination station of arts and crafts for little creative hands and minds. There is also a tent with face painting and dress ups. We will have balloon twisting galore and bubble mayhem to delight the masses.
There will be a workshop program of arts & crafts with Rainbow Tye dye totes from Aspiral Design, Clay making, wooden beaded key rings, Tin can decorating, make a Mr Potato head and much much more provided by Kidzklub Australia…. Keep an eye out for our full program!
1st Weekend – 10th & 11th July 2021
On the first weekend 10th and 11th of July we have a stage area where there will be live performances sure to make you wiggle or giggle or both!
Enjoy performances from Poppy Galactic and the Beat who we know are definitely “Made of Stardust”, the amazing Tiptoe Giants, Red Rocket 3 and Shorty Brown the fun little clown who has a moment of Imaginitis and loves trickery and being mischievous. Tony Twist our resident Balloon master will be there twisting his magic creations and you will be sure to be mesmerized as The Trickstars demonstrate their super talented soccer skills.
scrapboy of dirtgirlworld fame will be spreading his joy and message of caring for our planet and you will see him turning trash into treasure in the Imagination Station Art area and he may even host his very own recycled fashion parade.
2nd Weekend – 17th & 18th July 2021
On the second weekend we swap the stage for a Clown school where our Little Splendour resident Clown Shorty Brown hams up the fun for all to enjoy with ballooning, juggling, bubbles and then later puts on her disco boots and and dances up a storm!!! So kids and Parents please come in fancy dress for this awesome fun kids party of a lifetime!!
